“The Garden Cottage offered a peaceful, quiet respite to us after putting in 12 and 13 hour days helping out with an 18 month old granddaughter and a newborn grandson in the next block. We are thankful we didn’t have to take the “J” all the way downtown to a hotel like we did last year because the Cottage wasn’t available. The Garden is truly a garden of earthly delights. The chocolate and wine were particularly comforting!”

”We were delighted the moment we walked up the beautiful path with the leaves and petals embedded in the walkway and the calla lillies welcoming us “home”. Our four year old, Sarah, loved her fold-out bed-it was as comfy as promised! The cottage was just the right size, and we appreciated all of the little touches-the Aveda products, the soaps, the fully equipped kitchen and a hundred other things-that make us feel instantly at home. We’ll most certainly be back!”

”How I envy the Bernstein’s, who have stayed here 10 times! This is heaven-the cottage itself, the wonderful garden the neighborhood, the easy access to downtown SF, all perfect. Only problem: who wants to go to downtown SF when you can feel so at home here? While here, I became a grandmother, turned 65 and just learned that a seriously ill friend was out of intensive care. In short, the garden cottage is magic. Thank you!!!”
